This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the FitU platform, including individuals using FitU to book and access services (“Users”) and service providers who offer training services on the platform (“Service Providers”).

a. Types of Personal Data Collected:

  • Account Information: Username, profile details (including fitness preferences, skills, certifications, and specialties), and reviews or ratings.
  • Communications Information: Information from communications sent or received through the Platform, including the date, time, and content of messages.
  • Technical and Usage Data: IP addresses, device models, and app usage patterns to understand and improve the Platform.
  • Payment Information: For transactions, we use Stripe as our third-party payment processor. Stripe may collect payment information, including credit or debit card details, and other billing information. FitU does not store this information directly.
b. When We Collect Personal Data:
FitU collects personal data when you:
  • Register for an account.
  • Login to the app.
  • Create a personal trainer profile.
  • Update your profile information.
  • Book appointments.
  • Send in-app messages.
  • Submit a review or rating.
  • Contact us for support or inquiries.
  • Purchase a package or complete a payment transaction.


3. Use of Personal Data
FitU uses your personal data for the following purposes:
  • Providing Services: To manage your account, process transactions, facilitate package purchases, and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Communication: To send you notifications, updates, and marketing communications related to our services.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage trends, improve our services, and develop new features.
  • Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms and policies.


4. Disclosure of Personal Data

  • To Service Providers: For service delivery purposes, we may share relevant profile information with potential clients or trainers to facilitate bookings and interactions.
  • With Payment Service Providers: FitU partners with Stripe for secure payment processing. Stripe has access to data required to perform its payment functions but cannot use it for any other purpose. FitU may also use other service providers to enhance our services, and these providers are obligated to protect your data.
  • For Advertising and Analytics: When advertising FitU services on media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google, we may share data for tracking and analysis. Users may contact FitU to manage their participation in such tracking.
  • For Legal Reasons: FitU may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FitU, our users, or others.


5. Data Protection
FitU is committed to protecting your personal data through various technical and organizational measures, including data encryption, restricted access controls, and other security protocols. While we take appropriate steps to safeguard data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

Under the PDPA, you have the following rights concerning your personal data:
  • Access and Correction: You may request access to or correction of your personal data held by FitU. Update your information through your account settings or contact us directly.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data by contacting us at contact@fitu.sg. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use certain Platform features.
  • Data Portability and Deletion: You may request to download or delete your personal data by contacting contact@fitu.sg. We will respond promptly and in compliance with the PDPA.


7. Data Retention
FitU retains your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this policy or as required by law. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers and will not be recoverable.


8. International Data Transfers
FitU does not transfer your personal data outside of Singapore. All data is stored and processed within Singapore in compliance with the PDPA.
